Iri hati, dengki, jealous.. membawa kemusnahan. begitulah renungan petikan, yohanes yg sy baca hari ini. Begitulah yg berlaku pada ku jg. semasa aku di banggku sekolah, aku mempunyai seorg kawan rapat. kawan ku itu, seorg yg agak berada, malahan sangat cantik. Ramai peminat lg 2. Kemana saja aku pergi mesti bersama denganya. Sehinggakan, rakan2x ku selalu membanding-bandinkan kami berdua. soalan ini pasti di ajukan kepada kami. siapakan yg paling cantik? senyuman sapa plg cute. dan dialah sentiasa juara.

em, entah apalah pemikiran ku pada di zaman itu!. aku menyimpan perasaan y amat jealous terhadapnya, aku selalu mengatakan, kenapalah aku x seCantik, sekaya, hebat seperti dia, kenapa aku tdk dpt belajar piano, ikut tuition? kenapalah aku tidak bawa kereta sendiri jg pg skull??..ini selalu ku persoalkan dalam baneka kepalaku.. jealous ada 2 maksud, jelous dr segi positive( bila mana kita menjadikan dia semangat kita u berusaha) n satu lagi membawa kesan negetive..mgkn pada waktu itu, aku jelouse dr segi negetive, kerana aku selalu mempersoalkan kekurangan pada ku. pada waktu itu, aku selalu menangis, aku mau tuhan bagi aku apa yg dia ada.em, bila ku ingat sekarang sangat2xla lucu. mungkinkah itu pemikiran2x remaja. yang x perna enough terhadap apa y aku ada.aduiiiii

But now they already friendly again.bercerita seperti biasa. tunjukan rasa syg antara satu sama len. selepas my alder brother kena berkerja di tempat yang jau. then jarang2x g pulang.

em, Adakah bila mana org yg di depan mata kita, kita x pernah menghargai mereka, dan menunjukan kasi syg. Bila mana sesorg itu tidak lg di depan mata baru kita sedar, sesali, dan hargai masa2x bersama.

satu hari yesus mengajak seorang melurusi kembali jalan hidupnya. c dewasa itu melihat selama dia hidup di dunia dia selalu nampak 2 pasang kaki mengikutinya. bagaikan tapak kaki di atas pasir. c dewasa itu yakin bahawa sepasang tapak kaki itu adalah kepunyaannya. dan sepasang lagi adalah tapak kaki yesus. dalam hal ini, dia tau bahawa yesus tidak pernah tinggalkan dia dalam apa jua perkara yang berlaku dalam hidupnya.

kemudian ada satu masa, suddenly tapak kaki itu tinggal sepasang. dan dia tau bahawa itulah masa yg paling gelap baginya, bila mana dia menganggap dia keseorangan. kemudian dia berDOA, 'Tuhan mengapa engkau meninggalkan aku di saat aku sdg menghadapi masalah yg sgt besar?' tiba2x ia terdengar suara yg amat merdu berbisik d telingganya,' ANAK KU, AKU TAK PERNAH MENINGGALKAN ENGAKAU, WAKTU ITU ENGKAU SDH TIDAK DAPAT BERJALAN SENDIRI SEHINGGA AKU HARUS MENGGENDONG ENGKAU. · Adam tidak perna rasa simpati terhadap diri mereka sendiri. · Pada kaum adam ada gf adalah BONUS, tapi hawa merasakan mesti ada bf, kalau tidak hidup mereka x lengkap.

What is Prayer?

prayer is talking with God. We pray when we open our heart to the Almighty.

Four Reasons for Prayer

There are several good reasons to pray.

It is a great privilege. Can you think of any greater honor than to have an audience with the One who rules over ALL creation? We have been invited to talk with the one who put the stars in place. We are invited to seek counsel from the One who is truth and wisdom. We are invited to sit down with the One who knows all things. The Puritan John Preston lays it out very plainly,

Prayer is a privilege purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. Christ died for this end, it cost him the shedding of his blood, so that we, through him, might have entrance to the throne of grace. And will you let such a privilege as this lie still? If you do, so far as is in you, you cause his blood to be shed in vain. For if you neglect the privileges gotten by that blood, you neglect the blood that procured them. [The Puritans on Prayer p.17]

Conversation is a part of any vital and growing relationship. We sometimes measure the quality of a marriage relationship by how well the couples communicates. Or to state it another way, one of the first things people point to as evidence that a marriage is in trouble is a lack of communication. The same is true for our relationship with the Father. True, honest, heartfelt conversation is a sign of a healthy relationship. A lack of conversation, or conversation only in public is a sign of a relationship in trouble.

We should pray because we are in a fierce battle. Constantly we are warned of the Devil's intention to neutralize and demoralize us. We are told that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Eph. 6:10). We are in a battle and we need the help of God. The enemy has marshaled his armies . . .when we neglect prayer, we go into battle unarmed. Do you find it at all instructive that Jesus, the incarnate Son of God, found it necessary to pray? If He did not feel He could face the battle in His own strength . . neither should we.

Prayer is a deterrent to sin in our lives. In the quiet times of private, honest prayer God exposes the rationalizations and the excuses that we use to cater to sin. In prayer God holds a mirror up to our lives so we can see the way we really are. . .and repent.

Prayer makes a difference. I can't tell you how it "works" . . .I know that circumstances change when people pray. Diseases are sometimes healed, strength is imparted, guidance is given, hearts are softened, needs are met. I know that when I pray for others it helps them. But I also know that when I pray, I am changed.

What is forgiveness and why do we need it?

The word “forgive” means to wipe the slate clean, to pardon, to cancel a debt. When we wrong someone, we seek their forgiveness in order for the relationship to be restored. Forgiveness is not granted because a person deserves to be forgiven. No one deserves to be forgiven. Forgiveness is an act of love, mercy, and grace. Forgiveness is a decision to not hold something against another person, despite what they have done to you.

The Bible tells us that we are all in need of forgiveness from God. We have all committed sin. Ecclesiastes 7:20 proclaims, “There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins.” 1 John 1:8 says, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” All sin is ultimately an act of rebellion against God (Psalm 51:4). As a result, we desperately need God’s forgiveness. If our sins are not forgiven, we will spend eternity suffering the consequences of our sins (Matthew 25:46; John 3:36).

Forgiveness – How do I get it?

Thankfully, God is loving and merciful – eager to forgive us of our sins! 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, “…He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” God desires to forgive us, so He provided for our forgiveness.

The only just penalty for our sins is death. The first half of Romans 6:23 declares, “For the wages of sin is death…” Eternal death is what we have earned for our sins. God, in His perfect plan, became a human being – Jesus Christ (John 1:1,14). Jesus died on the cross, taking the penalty that we deserve – death. 2 Corinthians 5:21 teaches us, “God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” Jesus died on the cross, taking the punishment that we deserve! As God, Jesus' death provided forgiveness for the sins of the entire world. 1 John 2:2 proclaims, “He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.” Jesus rose from the dead, proclaiming His victory over sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:1-28). Praise God, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the second half of Romans 6:23 is true, “…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Do you want to have your sins forgiven? Do you have a nagging feeling of guilt that you can’t seem to get to go away? Forgiveness of your sins is available if you will place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior. Ephesians 1:7 says, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.” Jesus paid our debt for us, so we could be forgiven. All you have to do is ask God to forgive you through Jesus, believing that Jesus died to pay for your forgiveness – and He will forgive you! John 3:16-17 contains this wonderful message, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”

Forgiveness – is it really that easy?

Yes it is that easy! You can’t earn forgiveness from God. You can’t pay for your forgiveness from God. You can only receive it, by faith, through the grace and mercy of God. If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and receive forgiveness from God, here is prayer you can pray. Saying this prayer or any other prayer will not save you. It is only trusting in Jesus Christ that can provide forgiveness of sins. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your forgiveness. "God, I know that I have sinned against You and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness! Amen!"

Penampang Kadazan
This is a subgroup of the Kadazandusun kin. They were traditionally farmers practicing rice cultivation, hunting and some riverine fishing. Their traditional costume is trimmed with gold (siling) on black velvet and is simple yet elegant. The men’s jacket and trousers bear some Chinese influence.

There are 3 different styles of blouses for the woman; for young unmarried ladies, they will usually put on a sleeveless blouse called sinuangga with full-length sarong known as tapi. Another style is a blouse with ¾ sleeves known as sinompukung worn by middle-aged ladies for daily or casual use and thirdly, the kihongon -a type worn by elderly women and priestesses during ceremonies only.

Thirty or more gold buttons are sewn in a double row on the sinuagga and are known as bamban labuan. In the olden days only the Bajau living in Labuan Island knew how to make this type of gold buttons. The costume is always worn with blouse tucked into the sarong. Several rows of silver coins and brass ring belts worn around the hip completes the outfit. These belts are collectively called himpogot (usually antique family heirlooms which a mother hands down to the daughters).

The coin belt (tinggot) is made from silver dollar coins of the 20th century. Broken gongs are melted down and turned into small brass rings that are looped through thin strips of rattan to make a belt known as tangkong. Sometimes husau, a kind of seashell that’s cut into a ring, is slipped in with the brass rings. The Kadazandusuns believe that if a sick person were to drink water into which husau has been dipped, the person will be cured.

Usually 3 pieces of tangkong are worn with the costume. Other accessories accompanying the costume are gohong (bangles), hamai (necklace), simbong (earrings), sinsing (ring) and pawn (brooch).

Betawi buttons are looped through a string on the inside. The buttons are tied together from top down of the blouse with a cotton thread. The gold-plated silver Betawi buttons were a status symbol for the Kadazandusun Penampang and if one could afford a set of thirty buttons (sonsolobuan), one was considered a wealthy person.

Kadazan culture is heavily influenced by the farming of rice, culminating in various delicacies and alcoholic drinks prepared through differing home-brewed fermentation processes. Tapai and lihing are the main rice wine variants served and consumed in Kadazan populated areas, and are a staple of Kadazan social gatherings and ceremonies.

The most important festival of the Kadazans is the kaamatan or harvest festival, where the spirit of the paddy is honoured after a year's harvest. This takes place in May, and the two last days of the month are public holidays throughout Sabah. During the celebration, the most celebrated event is the crowning of the 'unduk ngadau' or harvest queen, where native Kadazandusuns girls throughout the state compete for the coveted crown. The beauty pageant is held to commemorate the spirit of 'Huminodon', a mythological character of unparalleled beauty said to have given her life in exchange for a bountiful harvest for her community.

In marriages, dowries are paid to the bride's family and an elaborate negotiation is arranged between the groom and bride's families. As a traditional gesture of politeness and civility, the dowry is metaphorically laid out with match sticks on a flat surface, with a representative from each side pushing and pulling the sticks across a boundary to denote the bargaining of the dowry. Dowries traditionally consisted of water buffaloes, pigs, sacks of rice and even urns of tapai. Modern dowry negotiations also include cash and land ownership deeds. Kadazan women from the Penampang and Dusun women from Tambunan and Tuaran areas are widely regarded to have the most expensive dowries.

While it is traditionally customary for Kadazans to marry within a village or a neighbouring village, a change of xenophobic attitudes over the past few decades has eased the difficulty once associated with inter-racial marriage. The Kadazans have a particularly good affinity with the local Chinese and this has resulted in the coinage of the term Sino-Kadazan, which is a phrase used to describe the half Kadazan, half Chinese offspring of such unions. Due to the overwhelming Christian influence, marriage to Muslim spouses, which results in a mandatory conversion to Islam, still induces outrage and rejection, and is known to divide fiercely traditional Kadazans. Of late, Islam has been embraced by a growing minority as a means to political ends considering the fact that the local Malay minority has gained political ascendance in recent years. Ruling Malay political parties have also openly been giving political and economical privileges to Kadazans who agree to convert to Islam as well as to Kadazans with other religions such as Buddhist and Pagan.

Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Macedonia, on August 26, 1910. Her family was of Albanian descent. At the age of twelve, she felt strongly the call of God. She knew she had to be a missionary to spread the love of Christ. At the age of eighteen she left her parental home in Skopje and joined the Sisters of Loreto, an Irish community of nuns with missions in India. After a few months' training in Dublin she was sent to India, where on May 24, 1931, she took her initial vows as a nun. From 1931 to 1948 Mother Teresa taught at St. Mary's High School in Calcutta, but the suffering and poverty she glimpsed outside the convent walls made such a deep impression on her that in 1948 she received permission from her superiors to leave the convent school and devote herself to working among the poorest of the poor in the slums of Calcutta. Although she had no funds, she depended on Divine Providence, and started an open-air school for slum children. Soon she was joined by voluntary helpers, and financial support was also forthcoming. This made it possible for her to extend the scope of her work.

On October 7, 1950, Mother Teresa received permission from the Holy See to start her own order, "The Missionaries of Charity", whose primary task was to love and care for those persons nobody was prepared to look after. In 1965 the Society became an International Religious Family by a decree of Pope Paul VI.

Today the order comprises Active and Contemplative branches of Sisters and Brothers in many countries. In 1963 both the Contemplative branch of the Sisters and the Active branch of the Brothers was founded. In 1979 the Contemplative branch of the Brothers was added, and in 1984 the Priest branch was established.

The Society of Missionaries has spread all over the world, including the former Soviet Union and Eastern European countries. They provide effective help to the poorest of the poor in a number of countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, and they undertake relief work in the wake of natural catastrophes such as floods, epidemics, and famine, and for refugees. The order also has houses in North America, Europe and Australia, where they take care of the shut-ins, alcoholics, homeless, and AIDS sufferers.

The Missionaries of Charity throughout the world are aided and assisted by Co-Workers who became an official International Association on March 29, 1969. By the 1990s there were over one million Co-Workers in more than 40 countries. Along with the Co-Workers, the lay Missionaries of Charity try to follow Mother Teresa's spirit and charism in their families.

Mother Teresa's work has been recognised and acclaimed throughout the world and she has received a number of awards and distinctions, including the Pope John XXIII Peace Prize (1971) and the Nehru Prize for her promotion of international peace and understanding (1972). She also received the Balzan Prize (1979) and the Templeton and Magsaysay awards.
